SANFIX thread sealing paste is used in conjunction with flax or flax thread to seal threads at joints on various types of pipelines. It is applied to pre-wound flax fiber/thread in water supply and heating systems with operating temperatures up to +140C. The composition does not change the parameters of the working environment in the pipes, the finished connection is resistant to vibration loads.
The assembled threaded connection with the applied SANFIX sealing paste is completely sealed, and the pipe joint can be adjusted. The angle of rotation of the connection on the thread can change position up to 30° without breaking the tightness.
SANFIX paste applied to flax fiber allows the connection to be easily dismantled after many years. The composition of the paste protects the wound flax from fading, prevents its rotting or decomposition, and does not allow it to oxidize. Thanks to this, the connection receives protection against corrosion. The mineral additives present in the paste prevent the appearance of rust.

PURPOSE

SANFIX sealing paste is applied to flax fibers wound on a clean, dry surface. The use of SANFIX universal cleaner is recommended. The flax fiber is laid along the thread in the direction of the pitch, ensuring uniform winding of the material. After covering the area with flax, paste is applied along the length of the notches. The composition is distributed in an even layer, after which the joint is assembled.
Excess fiber and paste are removed mechanically. Any paste that gets on the pipe or hands is wiped off with a dry cloth. The pipeline is ready for use immediately after assembly.
